Record once.
Send a link.
Your screen and your webcam at full resolution, with the link ready the moment you stop. Anyone can watch in the browser, no account needed, and the notes write themselves. Zoom, trim, or hide a password later: nothing is re-recorded.
"ok so go to /checkout as a logged-in user, add two items, apply SPRING20, you'll see the 20% land on both lines. now bump the quantity on the second item to 3. the discount stays on line one but silently drops off line two, and the total recalculates as if it were never there. it only happens in that order. if you change quantity first and then apply, it's fine. also it doesn't reproduce on staging with the seed data, you need an order over $100, and I think the reprice call fires twice because I saw two POSTs in the network tab but I'm not sure that's related. screenshots attached but they don't really show the sequence, so... actually, let me just record it"
A link that plays, and a place to answer
The link plays in any current browser, on a phone or a laptop, with no account and no sign-up wall. Captions and a clickable transcript come with it.
Viewers can leave a comment at the moment they mean, or react with a tap. Comments can be switched off for any link.
Revoke a link and it stops playing at once. See how many watched and how far they got. Allow or withhold downloads. On Pro, add a password or an expiry date.
Your clicks become the edit
With the Blyp extension for Chrome, every click you make while recording becomes a zoom, and your cursor path is smoothed. Below, that process runs live on a sample recording; switch to Raw capture to see the difference. Zooms can also be placed by hand in the editor.
blyp.json
Every Blyp comes with its list
Once a Blyp has captions, a model reads the transcript and writes what a reader needs: a summary, the steps you showed, each bug with how to reproduce it, and the action items with whoever you named. Every line links to the moment in the video.
A checkout bug shown end to end: applying SPRING20 and then changing a quantity drops the discount from one line. The likely cause is a duplicate reprice call.
- Open checkout with two items and apply SPRING20
- Change the quantity on the second item to three
- Discount silently drops off line two after a quantity changeExpected: 20% stays on both lines. Actual: line two loses it and the total recalculates as if it were never applied.
- Check why the reprice call fires twiceDana
- Add a seed order over $100 to staging
The edit lives beside the video, not inside it
Drag it. This is a Blyp finished months ago: no re-render, no new file, and the share link is unchanged.
Your webcam is its own track: a facecam bubble you can move, resize, blur behind or hide later, without touching the screen.
Automatic from your clicks with the extension, or placed by hand in the editor. Aim one, move it, change how far it zooms, or remove it.
Blur or block out a password or a name for the seconds it is on screen. The footage underneath is untouched, and downloads are held while anything is hidden.
The viewer composites the edit live, so there is no export step, and a change is visible the moment you save it.
Drag the ends in, or drag across a stretch to cut it out, on the waveform of your own voice. Viewers skip it; the file keeps every second, so any cut can be undone.
Each Blyp shows how many watched, how long they stayed, who reached the end and where the rest dropped off, with names when they were signed in.
Uploaded as you record.
Yours to delete.
Footage streams to encrypted storage while you record, so a closed tab or a crashed browser does not lose the take: Blyp finishes it from what had arrived. Signing in tells us your name and email and nothing else. We never ask for access to your files or your drive.
Start free. Upgrade when you need room.
Free holds up to 10 Blyps at a time and records up to 5 GB a month, with no time limit on any take. Pro removes both and adds room, captions on every Blyp, and password and expiring links. The editor is free on every plan.
